Last June we announced the launch of the Dragon8 hard fork, which marked the start of a new era for Chiliz Chain with substantial technological enhancements and the introduction of a sophisticated new tokenomics model.
The Dragon8 hard fork has enriched the developer experience, and upgraded the economic framework of the Chiliz Chain ecosystem, promoting a sustainable and decentralized network.
One strategic focal point of this move towards a more sustainable, decentralized network is the planned closure of the exchange and the introduction of community-owned decentralized exchanges that will create deeper organic liquidity for Fan Tokens™. The first of which is Kayen, ahead of many more options that will provide greater liquidity, activity, utility and engagement for Fan Tokens™.
The gradual wind-down begins today (26/09/2024). There will be ample time to withdraw funds, which are of course, absolutely secure and safe.
Key dates and information:
- Deposits: Deposits are suspended as of today 26/09/2024. Please do not try to make deposits on the platform.
- Trading: Trading activities will cease on Wednesday October 09th at 10:00 UTC. We advise all users to finalize their trades before this deadline.
- Withdrawal period: Users will have until Friday November 22nd 2024, to withdraw their funds to compatible third party wallets. You will need to contact Customer Support at support.chilizx@chiliz.com to withdraw after this date.
- Fund safety: We want to assure all our users that your funds are completely safe and will be handled with the utmost care during this process.
Important steps for users:
- Complete any final trades before 09/10/2024.
- Withdraw before 22/11/2024.
Post-deadline procedures:
- Any funds remaining in user accounts after 22/11/2024, will be securely held in custody.
- To withdraw these funds after the deadline, please contact our Customer Support at support.chilizx@chiliz.com.
