ISTANBUL, November 06, 2023. Chiliz Labs, the accelerator and developer incubation arm of Layer-1 EVM compatible blockchain Chiliz Chain, has integrated Tatum and Moralis, two web3 infrastructure tools. The aim is to quickly accelerate the development and adoption of decentralized applications (dapps) in the sports and entertainment sectors. This links with our underlying mission to empower developers to develop web3-ready products and experiences, enhancing their digital offerings through the dynamic possibilities of blockchain to engage, activate, and reward fan bases.
Moralis integration
Moralis is a business-grade platform that provides web3 APIs, enabling developers to integrate blockchain functionality into their tech projects without establishing their own web3 infrastructure. Moralis’ platform will enable seamless interoperability between Chiliz Chain dApps and major networks such as Ethereum, and BNB Chain.
What Chiliz Chain developers can look forward to:
- Seamless interoperability: Moralis’ platform acts as a bridge, ensuring dApps on Chiliz Chain can communicate effortlessly with other major networks, like Ethereum, BNB Chain, and more.
- Instant access to blockchain data: With Moralis’ Chiliz Chain API, developers can retrieve everything from transaction data to fan token ownership details, all in real-time.
- Live event updates: Keeps a pulse on all crucial Chiliz Chain events in real-time using Moralis’ Streams API, allowing developers to receive tailored event data.
- Streamlined user onboarding: The integration ensures frictionless user logins for Chiliz Chain dApps using Moralis’ Authentication API.
- Cross-chain NFT data: For projects that delve into NFTs on Chiliz Chain, Moralis’ NFT API offers comprehensive data, from ownership details to transfer histories.
Tatum integration
Tatum is an open-source software development kit (SDK) that offers infrastructure and a unified framework for over 90+ blockchain protocols, enabling developers to create web3 applications without prior blockchain experience.
Tatum introduces two features that enhance the capabilities of developers and expand the possibilities within the Chiliz ecosystem:
- Chiliz integration into Tatum’s SDK: Tatum is enhancing its JavaScript SDK to facilitate the rapid and efficient development of web3 applications on Chiliz. The completed SDK integration simplifies coding and accelerates the deployment of innovative projects on the Chiliz blockchain.
- RPC Node and Archive Node Integration: RPC Nodes make it reliable and accessible for developers to build web3 applications on Chiliz, and Archive Nodes grant them access to extensive historical blockchain data. This integration equips developers with an enhanced toolkit, facilitating smoother interaction with the Chiliz blockchain.
Chiliz Global Hackathon at ETHGlobal Istanbul
As a result of these integrations, Chiliz is also excited to announce its global hackathon from November 17–19 at ETHGlobal Istanbul. This competition invites developers to build dApps on the Chiliz Chain, with a total prize fund of $20,000. The event will focus on two main prize categories: Fan Utility Projects, which optimally utilize Fan Tokens, and SportFi Projects, which pertain to decentralized finance platforms related to sports. Besides individual category prizes, a pool prize of $5,000 will be distributed among all projects submitted successfully.
Continued innovation will drive the growth of the Chiliz Chain ecosystem, with Chiliz Labs — the $50M accelerator and incubator for sports focused blockchain projects — at the heart of this. Chiliz Chain is already the number one sports chain, with 80+ Fan Tokens, hundreds of partners, and over two million wallets. Chiliz Labs is fostering a plethora of community apps, custodial solutions (BitGet Wallet, Magic Link, Fireblocks etc), and upcoming DeFi lending and DEX solutions (Lenx, PepperSwap). This isn’t to mention the various metaverse-based sports games, football and football manager games, rewards and engagement driven community platforms, social gaming platforms, and digital sports collectibles.
